
The EPA membership will be voting to approve four nominations for the EPA board at the annual meeting during the Branson convention on Tuesday, May 6, 2025.
Current Treasurer Warren L. Maye has been nominated for president-elect to succeed Dwight Widaman who will move into the role of president at the end of this year’s convention. Warren will succeed Dwight as president in 2027. He is the editor-in-chief of SAconnects, published by The Salvation Army Eastern Territory.
Andy Olsen has been nominated for treasurer to complete the last two years of Warren’s term. He is a senior features writer at Christianity Today, where he covers migration and international affairs, among other subjects. He previously oversaw CT’s print magazine team.
Kristy Glaspie has been nominated for a full three-year term as secretary. She was appointed to the board a year ago to fill a vacancy. Kristy is the editor-in-chief of World Vision magazine.
Seana Scott has been nominated to fill the role of advisor. She is a freelance content creator, speaker, and founder of Well Soul Life. She has been widely published in Christianity Today, Fathom Mag, Brio, Peer, and Answers magazine, among others. Seana was the 2019 winner of the Jerry Jenkins Scholarship while a student at Dallas Theological Seminary.
These four, if elected, will join Dwight Widaman as president and Mark Dreistadt as advisor on the six-member board.
Completing their terms on the board after this convention are President Sandra Glahn and Advisor Ann-Margret Hovsepian.
The nominating committee was chaired by former EPA President Carol Pipes. The committee also included Eric Thomsen and Diane McDougall.
